Kelsie Dayna's artwork is hard to miss. It's bright, colorful, full of personality, and often tells stories inspired by the people and places that make Hawaiʻi so special. While she works digitally, every illustration begins with an idea she wants to share and a story she wants to tell.

Her journey into becoming a full time artist started with an unexpected career change. After losing her corporate job during the pandemic, Kelsie decided to take a chance on the dream she'd carried with her since childhood. Five years later, she's built a thriving creative business doing what she loves. As she shared with us, it's her seven year old self who keeps her going, reminding her that art was always where she was meant to be.
